| If you haven't heard Musky Innovations purchased Live Action Lures last fall.
Chicago show this weekend will be the first place the public will get to see the new baits. They have a new redesigned harness and killer custom colors.
I used some of the New Big Joe's last fall they were unbelievable.
Big Joe's have been a favorite bait of mine for many many years.
They were one of the first big soft plastics designed for Musky by the late Joe Borgwardt in the early 80's.. I was lucky enough to spend some time with Joe in his shop before he passed, he was truly a pioneer in rubber baits.
Here is a small sample of some freshly made baits from Musky Innovations be sure to stop and check them out in their booth at the shows
Thanks,
Jeff Hanson

| Hey Jeff,
I would like to get some of these. Do you know if they will be available at the Ohio show? We don't have any musky shops here in PA. I tried to get a few after the guide trip this summer and couldn't find em anywhere. |

| Dan- Yes Musky Innovations has a booth at Ohio and they will have the baits.
Kirk- Rubber is different than the Original Joes, Its a little tougher but still has the same great action on the tails. With Musky Innovations making them now there will be a ton more color options because of them being able to custom paint them.
The baits will also be available after the shows at most of the bigger musky retailers in standard colors.

Also, any word on the Mojo? Are they bringing that back?

| Nathan- Big Joe's weigh 4.5 oz
madmusky- They will be $20 at shows
The Mojoe is not available yet but will be soon
Musky Innovations is still making the Under Dawg and it will be available at shows.
Alex- Brad is going to try and have some available at the Musky Max show in Pennsylvania but no promises, there is another show (Wausau) going on at the same time in Wisconsin he will have them there. With shows almost every weekend and 2 on some weekends its hard for them to make enough baits to have everywhere.
Thanks,
Jeff Hanson

| Jeff-
When do you throw the Big Joe vs. the Underdawg?
is mostly a size thing? is the Big Joe a little easier to pop through the weeds?

| madmusky-
I will throw the Big Joe from opener to ice up. The underdawg I start using in summer.
I use the Big Joe in and around the weeds and structure it is easy to keep out of the weeds. It is good even in shallow water just hold your rod tip up. It is also good for fishing deep just keep your rod tip down and work it slower. I have caught a lot of big fish on them working them deep after turnover also.., I filmed a episode with Keyes Outdoors this fall, not sure when it will air this winter.. you will be able to see how/when to use a Big Joe and see us catch a couple fish out of shallow weeds with it.
I also wrote a chapter in Musky Hunters new book "25 Can't Miss musky Patterns"
in that chapter I describe in detail how to work Big Joes in the weeds.
The Underdawg I use in open water fishing suspended bait, or after turnover fishing deep drops with it. Its too hard to fish in the weeds in Madison.

The new colors look great, and I will get some, but I would also like to get some of the standard, plain Jane, old colors.

| Travis- The colors I posted are 2016 show colors only-- they will not have standard colors in the booth at shows. They will have the standards available at most stores by spring.
Muskie Bob- the $20 price is for Custom ones at show.
Not sure what they will be in stores for the standards, sure it will be more than $16 like everything else materials and labor costs more now days.
