Location: West Virginia | I have a 2007 620 and rangertrail trailer. I just bought new kumhos tires last winter and have put approx. 5000 miles on them. The inside tread of one of the tires is wore down to nothing. The rest of that tire and the other 3 are in great shape. I have some play in the bearing, but not a ton. I was wondering if a loose or bad bearing could cause that much wear or do I need to look at replacing the axle? |

Location: Not where I want to be! | Tighten up the bearing, although that probably is not the cause of the wear. Then take it to a frame alignment shop and have it checked for camber and toe. The axle can be straightened if it is bent. |

| On my 521 I had the same problems. If it has torsion axels like the bass boats do then according to ranger it is really important on your hitch height. It also is very important to have proper air pressure. I did like you did and wore through a set of tires in a season, after being very displeased I called Ranger spent some time with them on the phone they gave me the best specs possible for that boat(hitch height, tire pressure, etc.) Not only do the tires wear like iron now, the boat pulls way better now! |

Location: West Virginia | Talked to ranger, took some measurements and the tire is way out of alignment. And with the torsion trailers there is no adjustments. So I have to order a new axle. |

Location: West Virginia | Basically, you measure from front of the right side tire to the front of the left side tire on the same axle. Pick a tread spot and repeat on the back of the same tires. He said that 3/16 of a difference requires replacement. Mine was out 5/8 of an inch. |
