| Howdy,
Now that they are out does anyone have any review for these rods? I can't find anything on them as far as real world usage goes. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Take care,

Location: Fifield | I have a 8'6 HF. I used it all summer, probably 40 times out and it is my main rod. No problems. The extreme weight savings really makes a difference by the end of the day(I have it paired with a lightweight NACL60). I would love to upgrade the rest of my Legend Tournament rods to this series but the price on these is holding me back. I'm having a hard time justifying over 5 bills for another rod. |

Location: Smith Creek | I have the same one. I like it a lot. Behaves like the sling blade power and action wise but noticeably lighter and casts farther. |

Location: central Wisconsin | I've got a 9' MH, pretty much the same action as my Long Ranger but six inches longer. Noticeable increase in casting distance and ease in casting. I bought mine from the factory, it is a B stock so the price was cut down to $299. I can justify that cost when I replaced a LT but I don't see myself paying $550 plus tax. I put a TE 400 on last year, this year I am going to put a Revo Toro Beast 50 series on it. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Very nice rods. I noticed better casting distance, and less fatigue due to the design and weight. |

Location: St. Lawrence River | Will be tough for me to go to these from my LT's. I think I rather get a TB Pred for that money. I'd like to throw one though. Are the rear handles longer? I wish my sling blade was a couple inches longer in the rear. |

| I also picked up the 9 foot MH for throwing Bucktails at our Tigers. I love mine, the only thing I don't care for is the color.....not nearly as pretty as the LT's. |

Location: Central Wisconsin | I have a sling blade and love it. You can bomb bucktails all day no problem. You don't realize the full difference until you fish with it for a few hrs then try switching to a different(cheaper) rod. |

| Howdy,
Does anybody have any experience with the 7'6" extra heavy that is rated for 4-10 ounces? I'm wondering if its a better option than the 8'6" or 9' heavy for jerks or if I'm better staying with the longer rod.
Take care,

| I threw one of the Legend Elites for a little while this summer. I thought it was very, very similar to my G-Loomis rod. Very light, very powerful. 8.5 footer. I'd pony up the dough for one, if I didn't already have the G-Loomis. Both are excellent rods. |

| Must say I loved the rod. Casted 10s noticeably farther with ease. Will be getting another for me the wife for sure. Just would like a different handle. |

| Howdy,
Has anyone used one with a Tranx or a new Conquest 400? I'd be curious to see how they felt and if the weight of the Tranx negated any of the benefits of the lighter rod.
Take care,

Location: Contrarian Island | for those that have used the 9 foot heavy (not MH), how does it compare to say a Sling Blade and Big Nasty? is the 9 foot Heavy legend elite more like a big nasty or softer in the tip like a sling blade? thx |

Location: Smith Creek | If the Big Nasty is 10 on the power scale and the Sling Blade is a 5, then the LEM90HF is a 6. Slightly more power than the Sling Blade and less power than the Big Nasty. |

Location: N.FIB | I bought the 8`6 h and paired it with a revo toro 60 and that reel on it was perfect, put a 400te ljv on it to begin with but it was too reel heavy and I`m not the type to put a rod balancer on.I thought it was to light in the tip for 10`s because of it being hard pulling doing a figure 8,it work great for other baits below 10`s if you know what I mean.I threw a wabull with it a lot and was happy with the action. |

I thought it felt just like the big nasty other than the difference in weight and fore-grip. |

Location: Contrarian Island | thanks Flambeau that was the info I was looking for..I was hoping it was in between .... I'm getting the blank to have one custom made, so I might just hack a few inches off the tip of the 9 footer to get it where I want... |

I thought so too at first, but I don't trust my feelings so I did a deflection test with all 3. |

| Just looking at specs there's really not that big of a difference between the LT in weight. Both model below are similar specs. Heavy action, same lure weight rating.
LEM90HF rod weight 10.5 oz
LTMU90HF rod weight 10.8 oz
