I own a Triton bass boat and the trailer bunk carpet needs to be replaced. I am certain that I want to reuse the lumber for the bunks because they are coated in Paraffin and are not rotting nor will they ever; which presents a minor issue.

Anyone have a suggestion, experience or knowledge on how I can get the trailer out from under the boat? I am thinking that I could have the carpet reattached and mounted again within a day or two. Any input would help.

Thanks

I used 2 floor jacks with a board on them and tipped one side up then the other side.
It worked really well.

I guess in the past my dad and I have launched the boat and had one guy measure up the bunks. We then did pre cutting before we went out again. We launched again did it with the boat in the water.

Nathan's plan is the most logical.
U could climb underneath now, measure and the make them.
Then launch and replace.
If the wood is not rotted then another trailer trip will not be an issue.
