i live at least 3 hours from the border =6 hours of gas is $65.00+ so no better! but there must be cheaper ways! tackle warehouse ship thru UPS worldwide saver from california for $27 to my door in 24 hours too! they must have a hell of a good contract !

9' rod for $27 for international fishing ? Somehow doubt that
Also UPS is notorious for back end charges.

they only have bass rods and i got a 7.11 swimbait rod to my door in quebec canada in 24 hours for $27 ! that is UPS worldwide saver that seems to be the difference but that is on one box only! if you get two it will double! too bad they d'ont have musky tackle ! its nice to live in canada but we pay for it getting stuff made in usa!

The length makes the difference, James did ship short rods without any problems via USPS and the price was very reasonable as well. I'm sure he will chime in to explain.

This special is GLOBAL. With that said, we can ship rods all over the world but for the quoted shipping on the website we can only ship the 2pc 9' rods for the quoted amount. If you want a long rod and your delivery address is outside the USA we have to ship using FedEx International. To ship 1-8 rods to Canada is about $84 to $120 shipping cost depending on final weight. I just shipped 6 rods to Italy and that was $226 for shipping. The Italy shipping was not bad as 3 guys got together and shipped ell of their rods together. They said that saved them about $100/rod (even after the $226 shipping) vs buying good quality pike rods in Italy.
So YES, we can ship the rods Globally but you just need to contact me for a shipping quote. Otherwise, buy the 9' 2pc rods and we will ship them out ASAP and you get the 20% off too!!
Also for Canada, we do have 5/0 Sports there and they have all of our rods. With ship freight to them so their cost is a lot lower vs my TI site even with the 20% off so check 5/0 out: http://5aught.ca/catalogue.php?category=78

Problem with UPS is they broke 1 out of 4 rods for Tackle Industries and never insured any of them without a 45 minute-2 hour phone fight with customer service. And even then they only insured 1 out of 3 rods. We dumped them for FedEx and SpeeDees shipping 4 years ago and have had maybe 1 out of 100 rods broken by shipping issues now and full insurance coverage since the change over.

i understand and checked with them too $249.00 for the 7.6 to my door . too bad they did not have the 20% off ! i know UPS is not easy to deal with and costly in most cases . i will wait for now but i still want to try your rods one day !
oh they do not have the 7 foot on special at $100 either !
