Warm feet during late fall muskie fishing is very important,,especially here in Minnesota.

I'm going to treat myself to a pair of classic 'll bean duck boots,,,I've had the knockoff fleet farm, gander mountain, lacrosse ,ones that look like the classic rubber bottom leather upper style but EVERYBODY tells me there's nothing like the actual fit and quality of the beans.
I want this style I know the heavier snowmobile pac removable liner boots are warmer but I don't want that heavy or bulky plus I already have some.

For those of you who have the classic style 'll beans are they worth the price.????

i have a pair of the uninsulated ones. i have had them for at least fifteen years. Extremely comfortable and in my opinion worth every penny. When I need a new pair of insulated boots i will be getting beans.

No, the originals are not very warm. No insulation in the rubber and the cold goes right thru. They are great in early fall when raining but not for late fall.

They are worth it. I wear mine mostly for turkey hunting and wet weather days. You may know this but just in case they are rebuildable. I've had mine 20+ years and have had them redone once, maybe twice. You send them in and they just cut the old rubber off and install new. You can't do that with the cheap ones, hell even Lacrosse won't rebuild thiers.
