Location: NE Wisconsin | Now I have an answer to one of my questions about the big 58" St Lawrence Muskie. I was wondering how a guy could hold a live 58" 60# Muskie without having his right hand anywhere near the gill cover or jaw. Because in the pic the gills are closed. But after reading the article, I learn the fish was kept and filleted. It is much easier to hold a dead fish. I have nothing against keeping a fish of this size. In fact, if I would have caught it, it would have been the thump heard around the world. |
