| Hey All,
Closed out the Lake House and Pulled the boat over last weekend,
Here's the conditions:
Water varied from 52-54F, Clear in some areas, murky in others with large floating weed patches. Shallow areas appeared to be losing most of the weed cover but there were still plenty of healthy weeds in the 5'+ areas.
Made contact with some fish on Sunday, mostly in the 14-16' Depths. One 38" in the bag to close out the season and a couple of follows/Missed lure strikes at boat side in the 16' Range. They seem to be moving deeper, but are still up in the shallows to some extent. There was no action on suckers at all, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but not even a sniff on 'em I could tell. They stayed down, even in the areas I moved/Caught fish.
Sunday was cold in the AM - 30F or so, with dense fog off the 54F Water. Like casting in a ping pong ball. Thank goodness for GPS! The sun made for an interesting picture around 8AM and I took a break following the 38" to take a pic (Attached)
I think the best is yet to come for fall on Webster, but I'm out at this point.
Good Luck, Enjoy your fall and winternet!
