Location: varies | With deer hunting season going on or soon to go....
Would you rather;
catch a 54" musky or...
bag a Huge , fat 14 point buck ?

|
| Why not make it a 64" muskie? They're out there! I've seen a picture.

A pretty biased crowd here. |

| Have had several 54"+ muskies in the boat and its a great thrill for sure, but if "huge" is a Booner ? ..I'll take the deer every time! Hunting huge bucks with stick and string is pretty tough to beat - IMO. For me outdoors is about the "hunt" and the challenge. Fair chase B&C size bucks with a bow, is one of the ultimate challenges in the outdoors.

| Agree with IAJustin (except for the 54" in the boat, I have zero), the ultimate challenge for me would the the booner buck. Got to go deer, I can musky fish year round, hunting is a short window. |

Location: Smith Creek | Why would anyone waste their time with whitetail? Bobcats and wolves are much warier than deer and could easily beat a whitetail in a fight.
Just to be fair when I do deer hunt I use only a knife. Otherwise it's cheating. |

| Well since I boated a 54" this year already, I'll take the buck. Although I'm tagged out there too so guess I'm twiddling my thumbs! Hope to get a musky or two more yet this year and some more ducks yet. |

| I'd choose the deer, I've caught plenty of big fishes. I don't think I've even seen a 14 point buck while hunting and 54" is just a number that doesn't mean that much to me. |

The knife is for back up if I can't deliver the coup de grace with my incisors.
I coat myself in doe urine first to get them close. But that's not cheating. |

| I've got both.
I have got a 14 pointer with a bow, that grossed 183, but haven't shot a "net" booner.
That would be number one, on my bucket list.

Location: Minnesota | I'd rather catch a 54" muskie with a nice 14 point rack attached to it.
If I can't do that, I'll shoot the deer and put it on a giant sucker harness to try and catch the fish. |
