Location: SUN PRAIRIE WI | Saturday will be the last time I take the boat out for the year I desperately need to catch A Muskie. This is the 4th season I have had my boat and I still have not caught A Muskie in it.Now Muskie is not the only type of fish I fish for but I have spent enough time fishing for them.
I will be fishing Monona in Madison with the big temperature change should I go along the weed edge and cast out to the deeper water or something else.
And I do go to Muskie school every year and I have been out with guides on the lake but I still have not been able to get 1 in my boat |

| Not sure on temps down there so this is only very general advice, but I would fish the edges deep and slow. This is the time of the year where slowing down can really make a difference. |

Location: Contrarian Island | was out on Monona Wed night and got 3 and missed 2. I had boat mainly in ~8 to 9 fow casting in ... with the high pressure moving in and sun I'd try some baits like 6" phantoms, baby squirko, smaller suicks, twitch baits like a shallow raider, maybe a reg size dawg or tube to start, adjust from there... same depth... there are always fish on the weedlines here.. good luck!

Location: Madison, WI | If you are simply just trying to catch A fish...fish wingra. if you fish that for a day and dont have any luck then put the boat away. It takes time, sometimes alot of time but if your looking to break a loosing streaking THAT is the lake to do it on

| Well how did you make out? We fished Sunday and moved several fish and boated (2), one a sucker and one a bait. Low light seemed to be the key for getting most of the action.

Location: Contrarian Island | lol, don't beat yourself up...I knew some other guys out Saturday that faired as well... weather had them more shut down Saturday... I went out Tuesday night thinking they would be going with the pressure dropping and similar conditions to the week prior and could only muster 2 low 40s follows in 3.5 hrs... |
