My father and I fish a lot for walleye and salmon and were talking about the fact that most of the baits we use are no longer made. So what muskie baits do you wish we're still made?

My first musky was caught on an old pink Dorazio baby boo tail. I think Shumway was making a version for a while after that and now there's some other company making them, but they're not the same.

It's just a bucktail, but I'd really like to have the exact version of the lure I caught my first musky on.

I believe there was one called a Rampage by double O? It had a front bucktail with the long bucktail facing forward. Does anyone remember those? If that isn't the correct name can someone tell me what they were called?

No more Snodlows. Dave made 'em one at a time by hand, messed with them on the water, and burned any that didn't suit him.

No chance of Dave making any more lures. He was fun to fish with.

"Pro Musky Jerk". Pretty sure it was made by John Myhre. My brother got one from a bargain bin at the sports shop in Spooner WI back in the early/mid '90's when we were newbies. Caught some nice muskies on that bait. Still have it but the nose is mangled from using it up on LOTW and finding a few too many rocks. Similar to a Wade's Wobbler but with slightly better waggle and back up on the pause.

If anyone has any, I'd love to talk and would gladly take them off your hands!

I agree with Perc...M-9 grandma...in fact, my wife's fish that was on the home page  the past 2 weeks came on an M-9. The only flaw I found with the M-9 was the small diameter hook hangers and lure attachment....

I've tried to get some crank bait companies to come back with this bait, but none took it on. Bet they would sell...big time!!! The key is the concave lip, which added good roll to the crank.
