No big fish to speak of. I did manage to get a couple though. 36" and 41" in Madison on Saturday. 37" on Pewaukee on Sunday. A buddy of mine got a 42" on Pewuakee on Sunday also (sucker - quick strike rig..leader). Regardless of size - IT FELT GREAT!

It was fun fishing, but there was a cold.. snap.

No big fish in the boat Sunday morning. We just got eye strain watching 13 follows! Where is the dynamite! Pewaukee
Lake was 58-59 degrees.

No big fish this weekend. We did ok for around here though. a 41" & 35" on a jig, a 38" on a jerk bait on Sunday, Deer Lake. I just got home about an hour ago, 411/2" and a 431/2" tonight on a jerk bait.

CPR seems to be working here.

Nothing big this weekend. 3 fish boated, a 33, 34 and 36. But that brings the total muskies boated to 120 for the season.

That's a lot of happy people. :)

Had five sucker pick ups saturday and boated two 33 and a 34. Sunday I had a small one hit me boat side and four sucker pick ups. Got the hooks in one and it just bit me off sucker, quick strike rig and leader. Felt big and it must have just ate and swallowed it head first. Pretty mad at myself for that one. Hit it right away too.[:blackeye:]

In Smokyes tournement on Pewaukee Saterday, Cody and I got one fish that was enough for 9th place and won a fish fry for a month for a year at the Stone Bank Pub and Grill!
Sunday afternoon, lost one (never got a hook in it) trolling out on Pewaukee.

After actually fishing for Muskies for only the 3rd time this past Thursday, left my walleye gear in the truck, I boated a 45" on the Eau Claire chain. I was working a steep bank off of a long point with a weighted tandum spinner, she followed it up to the boat and hit it boatside. Sunday just one on that I lost, but it destroyed the tandum spinner. I was back at Gander Mountain on Monday to get a couple more spinners.

glad to hear that my eyes weren't the only ones strained from all the follows... i literally lost count of all the follows we had saturday- somewhere from around 45-50... was just unbelievable- even had 2 fish follow on one cast... but for the life of me couldn't get a strike out of them... they were very deep and lethargic... sunday was much slower- didn't see a follow all morning until around 11AM when a fairly large fish followed in- definitely in the mid 40's range-but same story- not in the striking mood... is that typical for this time of year, or was i doing something wrong? all in all- it was a great weekend- beautiful weather- and awesome to see all those fish up next to our boat... lots to research and think about before my next trip...

Muskie fishing very slow, was able to get one a 35 inch, but had a ball with my great niece (4) and great nephew (2 1/2)catching bluegills, and hopefully they will be future musky fisherman.[]
