Was 55-56 yesterday from 12-7pm. Had one nice low 40 fish come in hot make one turn in the 8 then took off never to be seen again. I was just happy to see a fish, been really slow out there.

She can be one fickle son of a gun...but they are there. Lots of pressure, lots of baitfish to pick from. Hang in there. This is the best time of the year to enjoy the Chain in my opinion.

Drawdown? Is navigation on the chain hazardous after the drawdown...is it worth musky fishing after drawdown? Obviously, I have never fished the chain in late fall and I have never experienced this. Thanks

I'm going tomorrow may fish south of grass lake road? I guess I'll try to locate bait fish in deeper water. I called C J Smith they got a new shipment of suckers.
