Location: Ludington, MI | Looking for a glidebait that will imitate crappies. I'd like a nice finish and a drop-belly type profile with the ability to work as deep as 6-8 feet on retrieve.
Any suggestions? |

Location: Ludington, MI | Yes, crappies just sit around a lot of the time, so maybe no lure really imitates them but I'd like to try the color scheme on a glider. I would guess a Bondy would be the best imitator in the winter, but I want a summer over-the-weeds lure. |

Storm Kickin' Slab. They can be had fer cheap if you wanna roll the dice & try snappin the lip off to try it glider style.

Location: NE Ohio | i've had luck using a 7 1/2" phantom softail in crappie color around known crappie hangouts. work it then let it flutter down - repeat and repeat til the figure eight. |

| I got this one from John Snow before I had my shoulder replacement. Has a great gliding action by simply reeling. Hard to find though. John

| I make a couple versions of a crappie glider. The little one on the bottom is new, I just made that one, and am testing it. So far so good.

Location: Ludington, MI | I've had good luck with keeping images upright by just doing a crop and re-saving, even if you don't actually re-size at all. I'm PM'ing you about those lures.

+1
There are a ton of crappie where I fish and these work. I've had better luck with the black crappie pattern than the white crappie pattern. |
