Location: Minnesota | It's going to be a crowded weekend. Spring bay and vermilion dam lodge are having there fall outings. Spring bay is full and vermilion dam lodge has 100 guys this year. I'm heading pheasant hunting this weekend and head up the following week depending on weather. Good luck to all who will be going up this weekend. |

Location: Lake Geneva, WI | I was out Thursday-Sunday and water temps ranged from 58-62. Musky fishing was pretty slow, we only saw a few fish. Walleye fishing was good though! Good luck, the fishing should only get better with how slow it has been recently. |

Location: Plymouth, MN | Was there last week. Water temps started out around 64-65 and by the end of the week were peaking at 60-62. We too experienced very slow action. Finally boated a nice 44.5 the Friday night before leaving, which made the trip home much more palatable. When we had action, it was near weeds, and during low light conditions. Good luck! |

I know. It was cold, wet, and windy. Like duck hunting but without any meat to take home.

| What water temps would you all recommend to start fishing shallow on the big lake? |

| A group of 5 guys were up last week for the 3rd to the 10th. We boated a 45.5" on the 4th and that was it for the week! We saw a few lazy follows, but no more biters... Wind and weather were constantly changing and the water temps aren't or weren't cool enough yet to really get them going... |

Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Went out yesterday for a few hrs. The first time in 6 weeks.
Anyway, the big basins were about 50-49* and the narrows were a bit cooler @ 48-49*
I fished shallow (3-12 fow) and only threw big rubber....Had one good smack about 10 ft. from the boat and didn't get any hooks into her. Perhaps today.
only saw 1 boat, not muskie fishing...... This is the best time of the year.
