Is it bad to store fiberglass boats outside in the summer. Will the sun cause any damage if covered?

Location: Oconomowc, WI		Should be fine as long as it's covered...you just don't want water getting in and rotting any wood if the boat has it. When I bought my boat it was outside for who knows how long, and the floor, transom, and all the wood was squishy and rotted. I ended up stripping the hull completely and rebuilding it. However all the fiberglass was in great shape.

I've kept mine under a cover outside for 6 years, no worse for wear. Cover is getting a bit faded, but that's about it. I'd recommend covering your trailer tires when it's going to sit for a while as they suffer the worse sitting in the sun/elements.
