Can you take the head
(i pilot
) off of one terrova, and place it on another?
say one terrova is just an i pilot, and another is an i pilot link..
Can you swap those?
and will it have to be the exact same size terrova?

All the terrova heads are the same size and you can switch them around yes.

Why not just swap the entire TM? Seems easier then changing heads?

The head units on a Terrova are an easy swap. 4 screws and it just plugs in.

Because i want the ipilot link option, not just the ipilot
one has it, the other doesnt...
so swapping the motors wouldnt give me that..
