Please scroll down for the full day one results.

The PMTT Championship on Lake Wissota is underway! The top 35 boats headed out at 7:00 this morning and will report back at 4:00pm. Most of the teams we talked to have had a tough time seeing fish the last few days and the algae bloom in some parts of the lake is getting pretty bad. Not even ten minutes after the take off Tim Widlacky had received a call from one of the teams that had already put a musky in the boat. Blue bird skies and almost no wind this morning. Should be an interesting tournament.

Day 1 AM Images

Reports are coming in slow fishing. To start out there's been some caught but definitely everybody's still in it.

High skies and calm winds are keeping the reports coming in to mostly follows, hoping for this afternoon bite to kick in.

Looks like some muskies were caught early this morning and it has been a tough bite through out the rest of the day. Lots of the teams are moving fish but having a hard time getting them to commit. From the stage video of the top three will be up later tonight.

Tonights day 1 results meeting will be held around 6:00 at the Americas Best Value Inn in Eau Claire.

Fishing was very good there a couple weeks before.

Green Bay produced NO fish. Look at what was caught there this last week, absolutely crazy good fishing.

It happens.
