The Petenwell challenge was held this past weekend.  there were 58 boats, and 6 legal muskies landed:

1st place:  Dave and Mark Lutz 41.25" for $3500.00

2nd place: Don and Jason Schillinger for $1,000.00

3rdplace(tie and split the 3rd and 4th prizes) Pat and Logan Wingo 39" for $650.00

and Jesse Quale and Dave Bergman 39" $650.00

5th place Wally Wolfe and Roger Lewis 35" for $200.00

Big fish Sat was Dave Lutz with a 41.25 for $480.00

Sundays big fish was Jason Schillingers 40"er for $480.00.

Water was dropping, so only pattern was fish were away from shorelines and slightly deeper than they had been.  One was caught on a bucktail, one on a manta in deeper water, mine was on a big crank in 6', and one other was caught on a hellraiser in 8'.  All but two fish came from totally different areas of the flowage, so nothing really caught on as far as a pattern. One fish was a pattern I guess.
