Location: In the Weeds | I will be doing a fair amount of musky fishing this fall. I have a few questions. When fish slide off the shallow weedy flats I am currently finding them in. Will i most likely find musky in the deeper water and structures nearby these areas? So a weedy mid lake hump, will they then slide off to the deep water or break nearby? Thanks | |

| As long as your weedbeds remain green, I believe muskies will continue to use them. Sure, there will be muskies on the breaks, but that is usually in late fall, after the weeds die off. At that time, I would look for hard bottom rocky areas that break off into the deepest water in the lake. This is sucker fishing territory and your favorite big plastics. Good luck! Kdawg | |
