75 for the 1760 and 90 for the 1890.

Well, some exist. Check the Northern WI craigslist for 'Tuffy'. There's a 1760 there with a 90 Optimax tiller.

I'm pretty sure I talked to the owner (a guide) about this boat earlier this year. I think he was only asking about 13K or so before the ice was off the lakes. I see it now has a new trailer, and is asking 17.5. It could be a different boat, but it looks the same. Same color scheme and electronics.

A 90 would be cool on a 1760 but the 75 does ok. I'm running a 4 blade stainless on mine and usually run 21-23 mph or so at about 4200 rpm. Opened it up yesterday and got up to 34 with a nearly full tank of gas, myself, and full musky load. No too bad. It's a little faster with a 3 blade stainless but hole shot is slower when loaded down with people and gear.

If you really want a 90 on a 1760 it's not too hard. Virtually all the 75s are built on the same platform as the 90s and in some cases the 115HP. With the yammie it's as simple as pulling the air restrictor and sending your ECM into a programmer such as Simons motor sports in Cali and voila you have a 90.

If you want a well powered tiller you need to get a 20 + footer. Since a boat over 20' is considered a ship the manufacturers decide the HP rating instead of the USCG.
