They are not a heavy rod at all, I don't think. Just got another today, will check it out for you as soon as the National Walleye Tour Championship is wrapped up.

I field tested these rods last year. They are very light blanks, no issues with the 2pc butted in blank design either, infact you'd never know it was a 2pc. 8'8" split was my favorite out of the bunch, but the 10'1" is also awesome! hard to beat the figure8 with that one. My biggest complaint with the rods are the small diameter of the handle/grips. Even the fullgrip, the diameter of the cork isn't much larger than the diameter of the blank itself and I prefer larger cork. behind that IMO the lure rating is abit optimistic the way they handle but they still do the job well.

The rod in the video as well as the ones on Abu's website appear to be sporting Fuji's Palm support seat with the window in front of the trigger. The website says it's a Fuji seat.

I was recently in Rollie & Helens and picked up the 9'7" rod, definitely a heavier rod compared to others out there...didn't like the balance of it at all. I use the Okuma and Shimano tele rods and it is definitely heavier than those rods. I should've measured the handles after the reel seat, but they are not long handles, I'm guessing after the reel seat it is 14 or 15".
The Toro Beast and S reels on the other hand are awesome. The Toro S is one versatile reel IMO.

The Fantasista 9'7" rod handle is 24" from foregrip to rod butt. From the center of the grip where your hand will be because of the palming grip, it's 19". It balances almost exactly the same as the 9' rods I have, very similar to the TI. I think the weight is really close to the TI as well. It's not a heavy rod, but is 9'7" long, so it needs the reel mounted to balance correctly.
For comparison, the Legend Elite 8'6" handle is 18.5" measured from the same spot, and the TI 9' model is 19" .

This is from the Muskyshop:
FB82-7 8'2" Fast Heavy 4-10oz. 12.0 oz. weight $299.99
FB88-7 8'8" Fast Heavy 4-10 oz. 12.3 oz. weight $299.99
FB88-8 8'8" Fast XH 6-16 oz. 12.7oz. weight $299.99
FB91-9 9'1" Fast XXH 8-18oz. 13.4oz. weight $329.99
FB97-8 9'7" Fast XH 6-16oz. 13.9oz. weight $329.99
FB101-9 10'1" Fast XXH 8-18oz. 15.6oz. weight $349.99
I would be interested in the 8'2" model but it weights 12 oz. Somebody said the rods are a little bit overrated so if I compare it to a slingblade which is in my opinion a little bit underrated there is a lot of weight difference.
The fullcork slingblade weights 10,4 oz and its longer too.

I have an 8'2" model, and honestly can't tell the difference holding that rod with a Beast and the Sling Blade with the same reel. Really close, but the action is definitely different. You will need to have one in your hand to decide.
