I have a 1198 si last weekend th e si on the righ t w as not working only 1/2 inch then the rest was just looked like bottom left side was working . Is this the transducer going bad the down image worked just the si on the right half of screen I tried different distances but did not change. I've had it since 2012 this is my first issue with it

No ran fine for the last 3 years last time out is when it started

Check for possible oxidation on every single pin where the transducer cable connects to the unit. It would show as green/blue powder on the brass.

I had that happen in the Spring. Humminbird said it needed a reboot and to just restore to defaults. Never thought it would work, but sure enough it fixed the issue. I had to reset my settings but SI was working without issue. It has worked fine ever since. Good Luck!
