| Was wondering if anyone knew of some spots I could hook into a musky from shore on the detroit river or even LSC on the U.S side? I know my chances are limited from shore but it's the only way I can fish and I know it's been done before so I'm looking to put in some time this fall. Thanks in advance guy's! Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
*****just realized I posted in tackle and equipment. Not sure how to remove but I'm reposting this into the correct area******** |

Location: Detroit River | There's always a lot of guys fishing musky from shore at Lakeview Park Marina (I think that's the name of it) in Windsor on the Ontario side. It's across from Peche Island. There's also several parks down river closer to the Ambassador Bridge on the Ontario side that guys catch musky during the summer. The Detroit side has a couple of places but problem with fishing there is it's more crowed with guys that have 2 or 3 lines setup so makes for limited casting plus you'll need to carry some protection.

| Thanks for the info! I'll check out those YouTube vids. All the ones I've seen are on the Canadian side. Thinking next year I'll just put together a little cash and buy the permits necessary for me to fish across the border. Probably a better investment than getting my ccw haha |
