Location: Contrarian Island | lower density water but has some tankers, Flambeau is another lake you should try on the chain...good weeds/rock...Doug Smith would be the guide to hire for the LDF chain if you want to have your best shot at fish

Location: Minocqua, WI | Like Nelson says, low density and challenging. I suggest Doug also.
As far as habitat goes, I do believe Pokegama has by far the best topography and structure on the entire LDF chain and isn't like a big giant sand bowl as the other lakes. It's got lots going on to make things interesting. |
