| For some reason I thought this promotion was mentioned or at least announced somehow here on MFirst in a thread; but when I searched for that I found nothing.
The promo is on the Humminbird FaceBook page and is a giveaway of one Helix 7 a day for seven days starting on August 17.
I registered for this giveaway through a link (which I thought was in a thread here) over the weekend.
In any case I was just notified by email that I had won a Helix 7.
The notice seems legit and all they ask for is a shipping address, no other personal info.
I guess I am just a little concerned because when I search, I don't finds any thread here, or anywhere on the site as I had expected.
So, in any case, my questions are:
1. Was there a thread or some kind of info about this promo here?
2. Anybody else register and/or get a notice that they "Won".
Suspicious but hopeful.

That notification was not up earlier today.
I am stoked to get that unit. Had actually been looking at. a Helix 5 last week but didn't pull the trigger then saw the contest over the weekend and figured "What the heck".
