| Was up in Vilas for the last week and my Sling Blades corks fore grip started spinning on the blank and the main cork was coming loose near the but section a few weeks ago. Since I was in the area and wanted to check out the St Croix shop in person I brought the rod with to see what could be done. They looked shocked that the cork was doing this and exchanged it right there with a brand new rod no receipt needed or questions asked. Even ripped it apart to see what was going on right there. Awesome CS and I will be a St Croix user for life!
PS they still had some Lake X Cannon ball and Cannon ball JRs if anyone is looking. |

Location: Minnesota. | Yeah, I've also heard good things about St. Croix too. I used to use a lot of their fly fishing rods and heard much the same reports!
Hope people don't take advantage of them... |
