Hey. Im new to the site and new to muskie fishing as well. Lots of great info here. Does anyone have a recommendation for a padded cover for a Nacl 60? Abu makes one but according to their site it will not fit a Toro.
Thanks
Cedar

Bass Pro makes a nice neoprene one that fits both a 50 or a 60, and comes in black or blue. Have had several for some time. Easy on/easy off, and they keep the reels in good shape.

There is an Abu product that fits the toro, it can be found on Ebay.

Bass pro round reel cover will have enough material to cover the gearbox. I have 100+ reels and they are all in bps round covers except the Tranx.

You have almost as many reels as I do. That's just not 'right'.

Use clean old socks. They expand easily to fit over the reel and are long enough to wrap and secure them even while the reel is on the rod.

When you work on reels to fund your hobbies (fishing and shooting), you acquire quite a few "toys". I have 14 of the same toro reel (size and ratio). That is how you know you have an addiction. Don't forget about bass gear for when the water gets too warm to chase muskies. It all adds up faster than most would think. My excuse is often, "when you go with me, you need to have better gear than I do so you aren't worn out at 10:30." Some days it works, but don't count on that one all the time!
