Does anybody bring extra gas cans across the border into Canada? I wanted to bring 10 extra gallons. Will that be ok? Thanks

I do it every year, I stay on an island on LOTW at a resort and I bring 5 -5gallon containers. I have never had any issues as long as the resort owner is cool with it. I believe the gas on the island was near $7 a gallon so the cans paid for themselves the first time I used them. Good luck fishing

You can bring as much as you want but I believe you pay duty on anything over 5 gallons.

I've brought anywhere from 35 to60 gallons the last6 trips, in red cans on the floor of the boat in plain view and have never even been asked about it let alone paid duty.
