Hi Guys I just started trolling this is my first summer ever doing it. I want to troll some bigger cranks and have the TX-44 planer boards. I was wondering what type of clips I should use? The ones I have now just don't work they release right away and I feel they stick way to far out causing the boards to go under water. I cant turn the boat at all or they just go under and release? any help would be great thanks

What size cranks are you running on them? I would run the bigger baits off the boat and put some smaller stuff on the boards if it were me.

Lockjaw clips. They hold well. If it's real windy they may slip. Just stop the boat to check them once in awhile.

Lock jaw clips or go to a mast system
