i recently bought a a used alumicraft. it is a 2004 navigator 165. i went to fill the internal gas tank the other day, and i noticed a gas spot on my transom saver, and coming out near my plug... is there some sort gas over flow that would cause that? there wasnt any gas on the inside of the boat near the tank or drain hole. so im kind of confused. i checked everywhere and cannot find gas anywhere.

The gas overflow should be on the side of the boat opposite the filler so runover should be on the side of the boat outside the hull. Unless you have a leak in the overflow hose or gas tank or have spilled gas in the boat there should be no gas near the drain.

A leak in fuel line going to the motor or the motor itself could place gas near drain or transom saver
