Hey Canada,

is that bonfire almost out up there?
I've been in a smokey haze down here for a week.

Made for a couple pretty spectacular sunrises though. Got up early late last week and the sun's reflection in the lake was dark red on very calm water. Took me a minute to understand what was going on. Out on the boat when the wind is right, you can smell it.

Last time I had an update..my Mom saw on TV that there were over 100 fires burning in Saskatchewan. Only 4 of them were considered to be under control.

The haze may continue!

Here in NW IA yesterday it was really hazy and they said the fine particulate matter exceded the EPA 24hr threshold. It even smelled funny. I can only imagine the EPA is trying to find a way to fine Canada lol.
