It will only last 4 or 5 hrs and all of the sudden act like the batteries are drained. I had the batteries tested on a load tester/diagnostics. And tested good. I put new brushes and armature in and still the same problem. Checked all connections from front to back and they are good. Could a control bd cause this???

Running in series for 24volt pd 70
Tested good today on a diagnostic tester at advance auto

What is the voltage on the batteries after you lose power? Sounds like batteries to me.

The whole test done at advance auto i think is bogus. It is good for at least 4 hours. So i think they will test good. I just dont think it will catch how long it will hold a charge. Those tests are only good to detect a major failure i beleive....

I would bet on the batteries too. In my experience, batteries can be "weird" in how they test vs operate. I had one once that would not start my outboard by the end of the day but it load tested fine.
