Someone broke into my car in downtown madison last night and got away with a bunch of stuff including my Minnkota Terrova 101LB w/ iPilot (bad Control Board) as well as a Revo Toro NACL 61 (little rough reeling). If anyone has any information on these or sees them for sale, please contact me or the madison police department.

Thanks!

That suckola's!
Got a high deductible?
If not, those perfect condition, rod, reel ,motor, and baits can be replaced. .

That sucks..!
If it were me, I'd call dorn on MidValle and let them know what happened and that it needs that control board..
Chances are whoever has it or ends up with it might bring it there for repair..

If you think the insurance will pay for a new ulterra when a broken terrova was what was stolen you might be disappointed. Good luck .

i know that i will not get the value for a new ulterra, i do however think that they will give me money which i can put toward one.

Might check with your Homeowners policy and the boat owners for the best coverage. Since the motor was not attached to the boat the HO policy might apply and that would surely have replacement cost coverage for your personal property. They should pay up to what the RC would have been for the terrova same for the reel all subject to deductible.

i talked to my agent and most of the stolen goods should be covered by homeowners, and anything beyond what that covers can possibly be covered by either marine or auto. And everything was insured for RC. so i can hope for the best and see what the claims adjuster has to say.....

Sorry for your loss. Thrives are the scum of the earth.

Your insurance policy is a contract. If you feel that you are getting 'screwed over' by your insurance company simply ask the adjuster to show you the contract language that excludes or limits the coverage. Or ask your agent. Most homeowners and renters policies will cover this loss with replacement cost. Good luck!

Thanks for all the great info guys! I know my agent personally and have been family friends for awhile so that should help out the process quite a bit. hoping for the best!
