Location: north central wisconsin | Buddy Don Kempen and I took a musky trip Tues, and things went good and bad. Good news was we got 9 muskies(they were quite active). Bad news was that the third musky I got that day hooked him in the middle finger into the tendon. Had to go in to the E.R. for extraction(I told him to be careful with the fish). His finger soon ballooned to banana size as we drove back to the lake. We did catch 6 more muskies so it was worth going back, with bookend 40 inchers for the mamaed one! Had to leave when the numbness went out and the pain set in. Hopefully he can fish again today!! |
