Hi guys, I'm wondering what kind of cranks/twitch baits that people like the best for casting? I have been looking at the big game twitch baits but am wondering what people have success on. Thanks.

I personally prefer the rounded lip of a 6" slammer over the squared off lip of the big game. To me, it felt like more resistance. So, I stick with the round lip of the slammer. I do like Bucher's and shallow invaders though and those have squared off lips.

Not really a twitch bait, but I really like the DDD too for fishing deeper cover, breaks, etc. Awesome big (rounded) lip jerkbait/crankbait.

I haven't tried a ton of different ones but I have had great luck with 8, 9, and 12 inch big games. Great wobble when twitched or retrieved, i love ripping them on the surface.

I like the Big Game Twitch and especially the Surface Twitch. I have also had surprisingly good success on the 8-1/2" Storm Flat Sticks.

Must have been a grim day to resort to the flat stick lol

Crane Baits - surprisingly good hook up percentage even with the relatively small 3/0 hooks.

The Big Game line up is pretty nice! I like the 7" and the 9" as they run a bit deeper, where the 6" and the 8" surface twichers are like a beefed up Crane bait for the 1 to 5 feet of water.

My 2-cents.

Ha. Have you fished them? A client busted 3 on one one day and then I started throwing them. I can't say much for the paint holding up but these fish love 'em.

Slammers all the way. The 8" and 10" are my go to baits!
