I'm a Shimano guy so when I was asked about a set up for pounders and dubbed 10 .I said predator X heavy and predator xx heavy with tranx HG and PG. I was told to much money he is looking at the musky in ovation with a Toro .since I don't use toro's thought I would ask witch 2 and why .is the 60 and the 50 the same just one is smaller than the other?

In my experience, the 50 is better for women or guys with smaller hands, its a little narrower and can be more comfortable for some people. I prefer the 60 5.4 NaCl and use it for pretty much everything.

To answer your question, yes they are the same, the 50 just is narrower and holds less line. I have experience with musky innovation rods, so I cant comment there.

Same internals, just a skinnier spool that holds less line. If anything, the smaller 50 size will be more durable as there will be less sideways torque.
