Sunday June 7th 6:30am is the annual capable partners outing on lake MInnetonka at the Mound city park and boat launch. Paul Hartman will be the host/organizer this is where physically challenged capable partner anglers are matched with the volunteers and their boats for a fun day of muskie fishing. This event started in the mid 90's and has grown in popularity so we are looking for more volunteer boats.
No special equipment needed to accommodate these eager anglers thereis plenty of experienced help to assist the anglers in and out of boats and secure their wheelchairs.
Almost all the partners have their own rods and reels or Paul has rigs for them to use you might want to suggest one of your lures or use what was "hot" the day before. Paul knows most of the good Tonka guys and will have the info or a lot of them will be there anyways has volunteer guides to mark maps give advice.
Day starts out at around 6:30 am, meet at landing have coffee doughnuts get the strategy, fish till around noon and return to landing where a delicious grilled lunch will be provided. After that you can call it quits or head back out if you want.
Last year some good fish were caught so we're expecting some more anglers will want to be part of this year.
Boat type/style not a big deal we just need More of em and somebody to take these eager guys muskie chasin.

If interested your participation would be much appreciated
Please call Paul Hartman to volunteer or if you want further info

Sounds like a great program. Wish it wasn't held on opening weekend as I'll be out of town. Thanks to everyone that volunteers and good luck to everyone that makes it out that day.
