| Well, we still have 10 days until the Musky opener, so I was out foreplaying around for Northern Pike over the weekend. Man, they were jumping the the boat. Countless snakes, one in the low 30"s and one fat PIG at 36". Biggies are hanging in weeds in 3-6' of water, twitching a 6" Jake was the hot ticket.
Interesting to see how my new 80# Floro leaders were working. At one point the 36" pike rolled and the 30" leader ended up crossways in the pike's mouth. Just a couple very small nicks in the leader. Thanks, Extreme Mike, for turning me (and Shep!) on to these leaders.

| Sid! If you can read and understand this....
my friend, you over-amped your brain functions with massive amounts of LSD. And at a time when a serious mental illness was really taking hold, too. Holes were torn in the fabric that seperates your various realities. You fell through and now you can't ever get back. Just the way it is, for good or ill. You might as well let loose and allow your soul to ride the currents of the cosmos.
