| As the title states the Lakemaster chips seem to load so slow, is there a setting or something I can do to help speed this process up? Its not a deal breaker but going 35mph I would like the maps to keep up with me when I am at 1000ft zoom. any help/tips appreciated. |

Location: Hayward, WI | Make sure you have the latest software update.
Having North Up setting seems to help too if you currently have it setup for course up. |

| Good to know, does disabling any of the additional features such as shallow water shading and such help with load times? |

Location: MN | Make sure your Humminbird products are registered at MyHumminbird.
Then you have access to latest software.
Disabling features like shallow water shading shouldn't slow map loading.
Use that all the time On my 859 and maps load super fast.
