Noticed water in bilge area last week.
Pumped it out only to check later and more water.
This is when the live wells are on empty.
Moved the levers to fill and no more water.
I have something not sealing or cracked or something.
What's the easiest way to get at the pumps and plumbing?
Plastic access port in splash well is rather small.

Thanks,
Nick

Or are these pumps in the middle of boat?

I think my '88 Pro V tiller, had the pumps in the back, I can't remember though. My '98 Pro V tiller, had both livewell pumps in the middle. There was a square access panel in the floor, just toward the stern, from the front casting deck, that you had to unscrew. It had pretty decent access. Pulling the pumps was not a problem.

I don't have the small access panel in the middle of boat.
One long panel that runs from front deck to rear deck/livewell area.
Will have to take a look in the access hole.
Wonder if the decking for live well in rear can be removed for access?

I'd open that long access panel. I bet everything you need to get to, is in there, except maybe the bilge, which would be in the hatch in the back.

Just ran into a boat mechanic at lunch.
He said they are both in the back and need to use the round access in splash well to get to them.
Great.......

There was an access area where the two pumps are.
One would run one would not.
will be changing both.

Well looks like I have to learn to type.
Lund sent me a Plumbing schematic.
I forced water up.the intakes and the front livewell valve was leaking bad.
Tie wrapped it all up for the next week of fishing.
Will have to get valves and pumps soon.
