I bought a 2001 Esox Mag at the end of last year and apologize for asking a question which may be a no brainer. The rear marnico 4 prong outlet is rigged to the 24 volt battery system. If Im reading right you can use a 12 volt stern trolling motor and the marnico male end will switch to a 12 volt output from the 24v system. Does that sound right? Or am I due to fry my 12v Endura for trying?

All you need to do is use the 12 volt plug and you are good. Be SURE to unplug the bow electric before plugging in the rear plug, and then unplug the rear before plugging in the bow or you will immediately kick the breakers on both batteries.

Can I have them both plugged in at the same time? I sometimes run my ipilot and my endure at the same time. Or do I always have to plug and unplug them in your stated order? I appreciate you always being so willing to share your Tuffy knowledge.

You can't have them both plugged in at the same time, unfortunately. One is 12 volt and the other 24, correct?

I have to buy the 2nd male adapter for the rear port yet. Im assuming it will have to be a 12v.

Alright Steve one more for you. What is the black switch at the front of the boat with the 12v/24v option do?
