I am curious which motor mount position any of you are using. I have 90hp 4stroke merc and is mounted in the middle hole. It appears it needs to be lowered one or even to the top hole. I have very little trim adjustment...launch at all the way down and very little room to trim up before it starts to blow out or porpoise if much chop. Also, I have what appears to be prop torque that has the port side noticeable lower when on plane/under power. The trim tab is straight so thinking it needs to be offset some but not sure which way or how much. Any input will be much appreciated!

That engine needs to come down a hole, at least. One hole up is perfect. The trim tab needs to be turned right a quarter of an inch at a try. If the prop is aluminum (a 4 blade?), you need to go stainless, and a 4 blade is best. Use your trim switch, and trim the boat up as you power up; drive it even in rougher conditions partially trimmed up and getting some hull lift unless it's holy hell bad out there.

Well I'm tempted to lower it all the way to the top hole just by looking at the cav plate and where its lined up on the transom currently. Now the trim trab...when you say turn it to the right, do mean so the back of it is towards the starboard side?
Thanks for your help Steve!
