| I've only handled them in Cabelas and they feel like nice rods but they are noticeably heavier even before you strap a reel on one. If that doesn't matter to you then the 9'0XH would be a solid rod for those applications |

Location: South-Central VA | The XH would be your best bet. If you haven't handled one of these yet, you need to before you buy it. These rods weigh quite a bit more than you'd expect.
