Does anyone try to get two 6500C3 reels filled from a 150yrd refill spool of 80lb Power Pro? Is 75yrds per reel enough for you or do you get too close to your backing periodically?

75 yards of line is plenty.

I prefer to have right around 100 if possible, but I agree with Lockjaw, 75 yards is probably plenty. The only time I have more line that that out is when i have a strong wind at my back, or im trolling way back.

I agree 75 should be fine with 80lb power pro. If you wanted to go light line for stealth spring fishing you would have to run way less drag and might need the extra line. I like the power pro.

75 yards is about three casts worth. It's about all I use with PP.
