Just got the new Shimano Conquest 400 and it looks great.Smaller then the old 400 and i like the full button.Going to line it this weekend and give a test run.Came from Japan in 4 days.

Nice, I'd be interested to hear how you like it and how it compares to the te and d. You think you'll post some photographs of the reel next to the older models? I'd sure like to see

Side by side to a 400D. Feels like a Revo 60 in the hand compared to the 400D. Haven't used it yet but looks ands feels to be Shimano quality all the way

This is the smoothest and most quite reel I ever used and it should be. Not really a power reel like the old Conquest and the TEs...little faster reel than I thought.
I put the Trinidad 12 handle and it fits nice and gives you just a little more power.
One pic has the power handle the other is the stock handle...is it missing something
at the end of the paddle handle?

Howdy,

Did you by chance get to test it with a cowgirl or other high resistance baits? I would love to know how it compares to the Tranx PG and 400D for fatigue purposes.
