I picked up an 8" Jake today, and sharpened the hooks right away. I was happy to see there are triple ring split rings on it. While I was sharpening, I noticed that the rings actually get caught on the hangers and prevent the hooks from being free swinging. Anyone have issues with this before? Should I just change them out for traditional rings, or just run it the way it is?

i have the older ones, regular splits on mine. if it bugs you just switch them out for good quality heavy regular rings.

I'm not a fan of the Wolverine triple split rings. I prefer the Bucher split rings, those things are incredibly super strong.

Thanks for the replies, I have plenty of Bucher rings. I'll switch them out.
