does anyone know how I can get in touch with the manufacturer of grandma baits. E-mail, phone number, address, name of company. Any one of these would help. Thanks.

His shop caught fire back in Feb/Mar and they are trying to get back in production by later summer.

I thought Jake made Jake's. He is the original manufacture of Grandma's but he is not the current manufacture that I have seen on the shelves.

I believe I heard a few months ago that the Grandma factory burnt down. No kidding.

So he isn't with Pete anymore? Didn't know that. Does anyone make the jointed grandmas anymore?

Jake & Pete had kind of a not very nice falling out a few years back.

Jake does make jointed Grandmas. We have a pretty good supply of all kinds here in the Cleveland area. If you're looking for a specific one, let me know the pattern & size and I can see if there is one around here at one of the shops.

Yes, his factory did burn down a couple of months ago. An exhaust fan caught fire and lit up the place. The last I heard is that he is trying to be back in production by the end of summer. Hard luck! Jake is a decent guy and I hope things come back stronger than ever for him & his family

I talked to them today via the phone. Very helpful and are taking care of me. And yes, he did say his shop burned down and they are working on getting back online......

I figure it's between Pete & Jake and none of my business. I don't know the whole story and what I do know is only second hand, so I'll leave it to someone more knowledgeable on the matter to comment.

Very good reasoning Worm Drowner and I totaly agree on that decision. My knowledge of it is NOT second hand and I feel the same as you and that it is THEIR business and should remain that way. Anything beyond that is considered gossip. I commend you Worm Drowner for being a sensible person.
