Location: oswego, il | The lexa, the spool spins 6.3 times per one crank revolution of the handle. It can be relative spool size is important so always look at inched of Line per crank turn. |

The 5.4 will get 26" per crank, a 61 will get a little more vs the 51 per crank because at the end of the cast it holds more line.
Your Lexa 6.3 will get 33.4 per crank but you will feel more resistance because its a faster ratio and because you bringing you bait in faster.
5.4 good all around reel especialy Bucktails.
6.3 good for jerk baits, rubber, topwater, bondys and small bucktail burning up to 7's 8's will be ok but you may start to feel it.

| I also have a 5:0:1 Calcutta TE. Would it be faster than the 5:4:1 NaCl?

| Ask yourself what you will be quicker with...way more important. |

Your speed or line per crank is the result of what gear ratio your reel has along with the spool size.
I think the TE has 25" per crank???
A good example of speed with a low gear ratio is the Tranx PG
4.6 ratior and 30" per crank, lots of power lots of line pick up.
The HG is a 6.6 ratio and gets 43" per crank.
My favorite combination for leftys like us is the Calcutta 401d for blades and a power handle, 5.1 gears and 27" per crank.
I will be putting 5.6 gears into a few 401d's this year for other applications, should get about 31" per crank.
