Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | A long while ago we ran a release pic contest with an Okuma Coldwater Reel as the Prize. Brad Nelson won but graciously donated the reel back and said we should re-run the contest as a kid pic contest! First of all, thank you Brad, very awesome gesture.
SO NOW it's a contest to see which kid pic is the winner...and this time you the user community get to choose. Select one of the five by using the voting boxes in the poll below. The chosen winner gets the Okuma Cold Water Reel donated back by BNelson!

Next time my son gets entered in any contest, would somebody please remind me to hold off on telling him until it's a little closer to the end date. The Bear had me checking M1st at least 3 times a day...immediately on wake up, first thing when home from school and right before bedtime. He'll be tickled pink to get his new reel in the mail and is already posturing for a new rod to match.
Quick story on the walleye.... My Wife caught the 23" walleye in my parent's backyard (Warroad River). After a few quick Happy Snappys, she tossed it back in. Being a hot July day, the walleye was taking a second to right the ship at which point the Bear asked if he could "jump in and help the walleye". The words were barely out of my mouth before my son had already hit the water. In his own words, "that was the funnest thing of his whole summer - swimming with the walleye!"
